Lead Project local teams as assigned to meet operational, technical, budget and scheduled goals. Play a role in the design and start-up of new equipment and facilities. Projects will include purchase of new production lines, construction of clean rooms, process improvements and new product introduction.
Bachelors in Chemical, Process, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related degree required with 5 years of prior experience in solid dose/liquid pharmaceutical industry (5 years minimum); Prior project / project management experience is required.
Prior manufacturing or development process engineering experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but not necessary.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects to completion on time and within budget. Knowledgeable in cGMPs; for pharmaceutical processing is preferred. Demonstrated ability to generate options to resolve problems, prioritize solutions, determine appropriate course of action, gain consensus on that recommendation, and implement the decision.
Must be flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks to meet the needs of the business. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills to perform as a member of cross-functional work teams. Ability to work and interact with peers, vendors, various personnel in scientific, engineering, QA, Validation, and operational disciplines in a team environment. Experience coordinating, organizing and planning daily production maintenance activities. Demonstrated ability to conduct and document investigations.
