The US Digital Customer Engagement and Digital & Marketing Operations Intern role will support the current US Market's business needs while gaining experience and understanding for how our Company’s Digital Marketing Operations function manages people, processes, technology and information to enable the commercial organization's achievement of desired business priorities. As a member of the team, this role will work across our US Market Analytics & Investment Optimization, Business Operations, Digital Customer Engagement, and Digital & Marketing Operations closely on key strategic issues and business challenges. In addition, this role will work cross-functionally within and across the broader US Commercial organization (to include Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Finance, IT, etc.)
Types of work may include:
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of current tools and develop recommendations to advance and transform digital capabilities in alignment with evolving digital customer engagement strategies.
- Working in support of capacity and resource planning for our digital engagement teams. These teams are responsible for developing, executing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across our Company’s business units.
- Lead initiative to optimize content, channels, processes, etc., including virtual engagement capabilities.
- Miscellaneous direct support and/or project management for other US Digital and Market Operations transformation initiatives, evolving our digital capabilities, for example-
- Projects to support the implementation of a consumer capability roadmap, including evolution of a data management platform, analytics, tagging strategy.
- Channel strategy and standards development including exploration of new channel opportunities, end to end evolution of Digital Execution.
Primary Work Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA
Our Company’s Upper Gwynedd campus is located in Upper Gwynedd Township, approximately 28 miles northwest of the City of Philadelphia. Easy access from Philadelphia by way of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Schuykill Expressway, Interstate 476, Routes 202 and 309.
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) North Wales train station is located a half mile from campus. The Company provides daily shuttle service to and from the North Wales train station.
This is a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student
Education Minimum Requirement:
- BA or BS Degree Required.
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- Candidate must have completed one year of MBA coursework by Summer 2020 and be registered for the Fall 2020 Semester
Required Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of, and experience with, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and critical thinking
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and negotiation/influence skills
- Strong collaboration, project management and organizational skills; ability to act with minimal supervision, prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Must be able to begin intern assignment May 2020 and commit for 10-12 weeks
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Business /Data analytics/Digital Marketing experience
- Experience with various Business Intelligence (BI) platforms
- Experience working within Agile teams
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other related regulated industries
