2023 Health Equity Intern/Co-Op

The Future Talent Program features Cooperative (Co-op) education that lasts up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Promoting and integrating health equity directly supports our Company's 2023 corporate goals to address unmet medical need and expand access. The Health Equity Team is leading efforts to ensure as a Company we realize this priority and goal for the foreseeable future and to also ensure we improve the wellbeing and health of our patients.

The Health Equity Team is excited to host a full-time intern candidate to support our efforts to further embed health equity within our business functions. This individual will work closely with our Executive Director, Health Equity, to support efforts to advance the integration of health equity into strategic planning, priorities, programming. Also, this individual will engage in work to develop and implement critical partnerships, with leading multi-lateral organizations globally, to ensure we continue to enable broader access to health and healthcare.

Key Learnings and Challenges

Candidate will gain deep and robust exposure on how a focus on health equity can serve as a business transformation level that supports key business priorities while also impacting population health in a meaningful manner.

Given the relevancy and timeliness of this topic, this Candidate will be taking on a task that is of great interest to many teams across the business including Policy, Communications, Marketing, Strategy, etc. Additionally, this Candidate will have the chance to build a robust network among leading global international development organizations.

Required Education & Experience:

Candidates must have advanced certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MPH candidate).

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Candidates should have experience in both domestic (U.S.) and international programs and partnerships.

Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.
