The role of the Associate Director, Strategic Accounts is to drive additional sales and loyalty of Clinical Technology and services for identified strategic accounts and IQVIA CRO through key customer relationship management.
The Associate Director, Strategic Accounts supports both Sales and Operations throughout the sales cycle and into implementation.
The most immediate responsibility is to support the Associate Director, Strategic Accounts in the internal adoption of Clinical Technology products across RDS an RWE. This requires ongoing education of internal stakeholders such that they are comfortable with presenting Clinical Technology products to customers.
To fullfill the 'CRO pull through' targets for 2019, the role must also ensure presentation of Clinical Technology to customers is optimal and materials are developed to ensure that Cinical Technology products are woven into the opportunity strategy presented to customers.
The role must also ensure that Clinical Technology is included in any CRO pricing tool changes, and that the presentation of pricing reflects the company strategy that Clinical Technology is 'Core' to our CRO business.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintain in depth knowledge of all Clinical Technology products and services
Bridge between Sales and Operations, providing recommendations, advice and support of client engagements
Ensure proposed Clinical Technology solutions meet client requirements and are fit for client strategy
Run/Attend key client Governance and other meetings as required
Collaborate with applicable key stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, operations teams, finance teams)
Renew and embed value of technology assets with clients
Facilitate prioritization with client and Clinical Technology between custom engagements
Ensure new opportunities for CRO pull through of Clinical Technology and services are progressed through the IQVIA organization
