The Associated Director, US NBE Operational Excellence role is a key member of the US NBE Operations team within the Omnichannel Strategy & Capabilities organization. This individual will be the centralized business liaison accountable to ensure quality and timely delivery of data inputs needed for the US NBE capability for all US Business Units (Oncology, Vaccines, Chronic Care, Hosp/Specialty).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and govern the NBE onboarding of Third-Party Vendors (3PVs) and their associated programs required to deliver a full omnichannel experience to customers; must understand various 3PV programs and how user actions within those programs are translated to data that is captured by 3PVs and sent back to our Company

  • Partner with Global Data Management, Business Unit stakeholders, IT and Media Operations to ensure 3PV data structures and the Content Tagging inputs deliver on the requirements for the US NBE capability and downstream reporting needs

  • Partner with NBE Product Owners to help resolve impediments related to required data inputs for the NBE Operational Product / Tumor teams; work with relevant operations teams that support NBE (e.g. data mgt, business unit, IT) to identify areas where operational efficiencies can be achieved

  • Consult with Business Unit stakeholders to develop operational metrics and capability reporting on NBE for the primary stakeholders; manage and communicate core set of KPIs that drive operational excellence and ensuring capability reporting is aligned to and harmonized with Business Unit customer engagement analytics

  • Direct and drive improvements with 3PV data processes that impact the NBE operations; proactively identifying areas of opportunity to increase quality of insights, streamline processes, and identify operational efficiencies; ensure activation of necessary internal and external stakeholders to support delivering on the improvements / enhancements

  • Responsible to provide expertise and requirements to support our future state omnichannel capabilities via partnership with US Business Units, Omnichannel Strategy, Global Data & Analytics and IT; support priorities and enablement of the US Omnichannel Roadmap

  • Communicate and advocate for strong data stewardship in support of business and customer strategies with all stakeholders

Position Location:

  • Upper Gwynedd, PA with hybrid work model (combination of in-office/work from home). Relocation assistance provided.


  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree

  • Desired: Master's degree

Knowledge and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Marketing/Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Media Strategy & Operations, Business Planning, Data & analytics, Marketing Technology

  • Depth of expertise with data and technology that is required for omnichannel personalization capabilities

  • Demonstrated success working in marketing operations

  • Ability to lead, without direct authority, cross-functional with Business, Data & Analytics, IT and Media stakeholders

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels, including Third-Party Vendor programs utilized with HCP customers

  • Ability to interpret and understand various data sources, synthesize insights, recommendations, and solutions

  • Strong collaboration, organizational and communication skills 

  • Solid project management experience and ability to plan and operationalize based on clear deliverables and agreed milestones

Preferred Knowledge And Skills

  • Agile / Scrum experience

  • Associate Director level within Digital Marketing, Media or equivalent from Agency/Consultancy
