Overview Due to recent FDA approval and a robust clinical pipeline, our client, a global pharmaceutical organization dedicated to saving and improving lives, is expanding their Epidemiology team. In this critical role, you will lead epidemiology activities from a drug safety and regulatory perspective for multiple indications, including rare diseases. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities include:
•Development of strategies to implement and execute on epidemiological studies.
•Communicate safety and regulatory epidemiologic strategy to product teams.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to support company strategy for observational research, integrating innovative study methodologies.
•Review, evaluate and develop epidemiological literature Requirements
•PhD in Epidemiology, coupled with five (5) years of epidemiological experience within an academic, internship, pharma/biotech or CRO environment.
•In depth mathematical/statistical and analytical skills, and medical/pharmacological knowledge.
•Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work cross-functionally and interact with and present to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
