Biostatistics Programming - SAS/Spotfire Intern

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The intern will be provided a topic that is related to statistical programming where the intern will work on or assist in developing the programming tool (macros, utilities, or apps).
• The intern will be assigned to a programming project using Spotfire or SAS to create templates for statistical report. The primary goal is for the intern to get a training about statistical programming in pharmaceutical company, and to support the basic programming activities under a supervision.
• The intern will participate in certain department activities and initiatives development.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:

• A candidate in a BS or MS program at an accredited college/university in mathematics or statistics where the candidate has demonstrated knowledge of scientific programming
• Available for 12 weeks full time from June to August, on site or hybrid work environment
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and to work independently and as a team member;
• Sufficient skills in at least one of the following programming languages: SAS, Spotfire, R/R shiny.
• Good communication skills
