Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (Chief)at Houston, TX. This is a great full-time opportunity, 36 - 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Minimum Qualifications:

Education

• MS or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field

Certification

• Board Certification (ABR or equivalent)

Post-Board Experience

• Minimum 5 years of documented post-board clinical experience

Recent Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of continuous work within the last 5 years

Required Specialized Experience

• Quality Assurance (QA) Procedures: 5 years of documented experience performing QA procedures
• Therapeutic Medical Physics (Accredited System): 3 years of experience within a healthcare system with an accredited radiation oncology service
• Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam or equivalent): 3 years of experience following TG-142 standards
• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT: 3 years of experience following TG-142 standards
• Treatment Planning Systems: 3 years of experience with Pinnacle, Eclipse, and R&V systems (Mosaiq, ARIA)
  • Experience must include 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, DIBH, SGRT, IMRT/VMAT (TG-53)
• IMRT QA: 3 years using MapCheck I/II or equivalent
• CT Simulator (GE or equivalent): 3 years following TG-66 standards
• Accuray CyberKnife: Minimum 1 year of experience
• Acceptance Testing: Successfully performed at least one acceptance test on a linear accelerator
• Commissioning: Successfully performed at least one commissioning of a linear accelerator for a treatment planning system
