Integrated Business Planner (IBP) - US Pharma BU - Sr. Specialist
Reporting to the US Pharma BU Business Planning Leader, the Integrated Business Planner (IBP) will be a critical member for centralized business planning in support of the US Pharma Commercial Operations Organization, including both field sales and account management teams.
Primary responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Provide planning support for sales leadership to help achieve business, customer, and people goals.
- Execute decision analysis & strategic planning support within the purview of the leaders to facilitate resource optimization and trade-off decisions across all customers and customer segments.
- Lead the business planning and resource allocation for the product portfolio and work to identify business opportunities at the national, regional, or local level for the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and manage the complexity across headquarter functions to facilitate a seamless operational experience for both field sales and account management, including collaboration with brand marketing and payer brand leads to inform strategy and monitor execution.
- Participate in the department's evolution (under the leadership of the Planning Team Leader) to align with US Market and brand priorities, including accelerating planning / analytic capabilities anchored in advanced analytics and optimized standard reporting via appropriate implementation of tools, techniques, and approaches.
- Demonstrate close collaboration with other IBPs and US Operational peer functions to ensure an integrated approach across the Sales Force Planning organization.
- Work collaboratively across the US Pharma Organization and related marketing functions to identify and understand reporting requirements and create pre-built views as needed to support Senior Sales Leadership.
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years field sales or related HQ experience.
- Strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to create/maintain project plans required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Innovative mindset with an affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to Influence Sales Leaders.
