LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer II
Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Research Chemist in Brookings, South Dakota, with a well-known industry leader that offers game-changing innovations at the intersection of health, material and data science that change patients' lives for the better.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Research Chemist you will:
- Work with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Will assume responsibility for initiating and performing defined technical activities leading to new or improve products, processes or technologies on a program basis.
- Will report to a supervisor or senior technical individual.
- Responsible for doing sample logging, sample preparation, testing, data recording, data review and product release within a drug laboratory setting.
Estimated Duration 24+ months
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering is preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility.
- Follow Good Documentation (GDP) practices
- The ability to do calculations and draw conclusions from data
Pay Rate: $30.53 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
