The Materials & Procurement team on site at NNUSBPI has an exiting new opportunity for a business oriented student interested in global pharmaceutical manufacturing. In this role, the intern will perform tactical and project based duties in a multi-faceted Procurement and Materials department. Procurement duties will include involvement in Request for Quotations, purchase requisition processing, delivery scheduling, and supplier contact. Materials duties will include data collection and analysis, inventory management, material movement and cycle counting, stock put away, picking for internal customers and other projects. We are seeking candidates with the following knowledge, skills, abilities & experience:
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials, Industrial Engineering or another related major sophomore or above.
Experience: No prior experience necessary.
Skills & abilities:
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
- Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
