Omnichannel Marketing Quality Lead

Position Summary

This position is responsible for defining, creating and maintaining effective testing processes for all products and solutions within Omnichannel Marketing, including functional, usability and performance tests. The Quality Lead will own ensuring our products comply with IQVIA's Quality Management System (QMS), partnering with other subject matter experts, product managers and engineers. The Quality Lead will also direct and manage an offshore team of testers and test automation developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines master test plans to document overall testing strategy for a project
  • Thoroughly ensures testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation; when needed execute the testing personally
  • Documents and works to resolve all problems
  • Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements
  • Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance
  • Establishes quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring software quality
  • Establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests
  • Reviews and evaluates software quality assurance products and services for applicability to in-house needs
  • Leverages in-house tools at IQVIA to manage, track and automate all testing
  • Leads a team of offshore testers and test developers
  • Partner with product owners, project management, developers, subject matter experts and other IQVIA partners to successfully deliver the product with quality


  • 5+ years in quality management, including leading test teams and interfacing with diverse business and development teams, to establish quality and testing best practices
  • 5+ years creating master test plans and ensuring their execution
  • 3+ years experience working with and leading offshore teams
  • Experience with implementing Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, automated testing platforms, test scripting
  • 3+ years relevant experience in life sciences marketing a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent work or military experience
  • Programming experience a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in the capturing of client information, with a corresponding focus on the packaging and summarization of relevant information back to multiple levels of leadership
  • Excellent spoken and written presentation skills with attention to detail in information formatting, presentation and grammar
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving strategic, operational and project goals
