Practice Leader, Sales Force Deployment

Job description

The practice leader for our Sales Force practice will be responsible for the growth and profitability of IQVIA's Contract Sales practice. This leader will drive innovation, thought leadership, drive new offerings and methodologies, build client relationships and drive new business. The practice leader will be a member of the CSMS management team and will work with colleagues to drive growth, profitability, maintain a dynamic and high performance culture, and exceed client expectations.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a P&L in excess of $130m per year
  • Drive sales to maintain and grow the Salesforce practice
  • Develop new offerings to continually maintain industry leadership, anticipating and adapting to new industry norms.
  • Build and test financial business cases and establish appropriate KPIs
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to develop thought leadership and innovation in the market, including novel methods of measuring engagement success
  • Collaborate with sales resources to position offerings
  • Build and refine client materials, including case studies.
  • Establish and maintain pricing structures.
  • Maintain a repository of client references.
  • Collaborate with operations to meet project staffing needs including identifying project leaders and attracting resources.
  • Partner with other leaders throughout the organization building integrated offerings leveraging analytics, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Analyze and implement technology infrastructure and digital solutions in order to support the continued growth of these solutions. Identify and build business cases for investment.
  • Identify and execute partnership and acquisition strategies as appropriate to meet long term objectives, manage acquisitions as needed.
  • Operate as a subject matter expert on developments within the landscape of inside sales, field sales, and virtual deployments.



Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge required

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing pharma/biotech/ med tech field promotional deployments
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Healthcare industry
  • Must have people management experience
  • Must have experience selling into pharma clients and with outsourced solutions
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment within the US
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work within team environments
  • Ability to lead and influence within a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across organization to drive consensus building
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Therapeutic skills in rare disease, oncology, and chronic conditions preferred
