The engineer is responsible for day-to-day operations support activities including but not limited to the following technologies: Delta V DCS, Allen Bradly PLC, OEM Parts Washers and Sterilizers, and various OEM Building Utilities that are PLC controlled with HMIs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, identifying trends, process monitoring, system administration, documentation updates, data querying, operator training and participating in deviation investigations. Must be able to communicate clearly (oral and in writing) and frequently with operations and other support groups. On a rotational basis, provide off-site weekend/evening automation phone or on-site support. Candidate will also be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and closing-out change controls for automation related corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • B.S degree in engineering or equivalent

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Self-starter; excellent written oral communication skills; PLC or DCS Programming
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in automation/instrumentation

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Process Automation Experience in a GMP environment with operating/programming exposure to Delta V, WonderWare, Allen Bradly or Siemens PLCs preferred.
