The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for technical analysis, effort estimation, solution design and development of the SmartSolve Platform software.
In addition, the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the product quality, establishing and enforcing best practices and coding techniques.
a) Translate complex functional, technical, and business requirements into robust and scalable solution designs
b) Drive technical designs to consensus and approval while performing impact analysis on the existing functionality
c) Break down the design into manageable development tasks and define and maintain project schedules
d) Execute Pilgrim Quality Solutions' best practices and coding techniques
e) Perform design and code reviews to peers
f) Work with QC and Technical Writers to describe the new features of the product and review test cases and product documentation
g) Assist Technical Support personnel in solving users' problems with Pilgrim products
h) Mentors/Trains less experienced engineers
- 5 years or more experience on .NET, ASP.NET development using C#
- Knowledge of MSSQL database
- Knowledge of Application Life-cycle Management tools like Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
