This position is a senior role within a newly formed Engineering and Architecture functional area. The group directly supports our Digital Transformation and ways of working in support of our Sale/Marketing and Commercial operations worldwide. The group is directly responsible for supporting new ways of working (Business and Technical centered Agile at scale) through strategy execution, process design, technical tooling and analytics, establishing lightweight global governance across our global divisional footprint.
This position is ideal for an experienced technical generalist who has technical depth and diversity in their background, and is willing embrace and evangelize change hands-on with passion and determination. The position entails pragmatic innovation and carefully scoped accelerated delivery to deliver results in complex environments.
The role includes engineering hands on tooling and CI/CD automation on legacy and new products, end-to-end re-architecture as well as teaching/coaching new ways of working (agile, devops etc). The position supports activities across several timezone, and requires excellent communication and networking skills across several global areas.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Associates Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
- 8+ years of technical and/or academic experience delivering technology.
- Outstanding communication and leadership experience
- Mastery of at least on programming language, Operating System and development framework
- Experience as a participant and leader in Agile and other Software Development Methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps development and tooling, CI/CD, Automation Frameworks
- Outstanding writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Working knowledge of Agile at Scale Frameworks.
- Experience in Regulatory environments
- Experience presenting to external technical associations.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines and change.
- Experience evangelizing change through multiple channels.
