IQVIA is currently recruiting for a highly motivated Therapy Account Specialist or commercially aware trainee Medical Sales Representative to work across Hull/East Riding.
We need a highly organised respiratory specialist who can deliver effectively against business plans and drive sales forward.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, we will expect you to:
Sell to healthcare professionals across a number of LHE (Local Healthcare Economy) accounts, always representing the business' high ethical standards.
Work as part of a cross functional team, responsible for selling to prescribers (or prescribing influencers) in GP practices, hospitals and retail pharmacy.
Grow and develop strong, collaborative customer relationships built on your understanding of their needs and your ability to establish your credibility by satisfying those needs.
Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge within your specialist therapy area. Employ a range of promotional tactics to successfully develop prescribing among the customers you work with.
Contribute positively to the sales team and broader account team you work within. Build strong business plans and provide exceptional service to your customers.
We are searching for the person who can divide their time between personal selling (80%), territory management (10%) and teamwork (10%). Communication and support towards colleagues are paramount to your success in this role.
We require a person who is full of energy and is able to deliver the following objectives:
Meet or exceed sales and market share targets in your area for the brands you promote. Deliver against agreed customer and business objectives.
Provide effective territory management - e.g. understand local NHS priorities to develop and execute call plans. Make a contribution towards the delivery of the annual P&L and contribution budget, and sales targets.
Deliver against all agreed individual and team metrics in order to achieve account goals, investing resources and budgets in line with agreed plans and expenditure.
Maintain clinical knowledge of the respiratory market and have consistently high levels of NHS knowledge to understand the context your customers work within.
