Traveling Field Technician - Software Installations

Position Description:

Our Traveling Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for installing both hardware and software in healthcare systems throughout the US. This role will also see you educating staff within the healthcare systems on the medical device being supported. The current product being supported is a medication dispensing device. This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership skills!

We are hiring immediately with an expected start date to begin within several weeks of completing internal onboarding. This position requires you to travel 100% nationally and requires open availability Monday through Friday. The position would see you working on average 30-40 hours per week as needed at each site location.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices; installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.

• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.

• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.

• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.

• Per-diem position requiring travel and open flexibility

• Traveling nationally weekly to support customer needs

• Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments.

Job Requirements:

• An active and unrestricted driver license is required for this position

• 3+ years' experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred.

• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system

• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices

• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

• Experience in IT field, IT Help desk preferred by not required

Experience in pharmacy technician, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, electronics, electrical, or technical work is beneficial for this position.

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.
