A user-experience (UX) designer must have a clear understanding of business goals and user behavior, and be proficient in a wide variety of skills, ranging from psychology to design and technology. Your primary mission will be to understand our business needs and product requirements and transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive products, interfaces, platforms for mobile and web.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Identify design problems and devise usable solutions.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, new functions and new features.
  • Take a user-centered design approach iterate your designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in design thinking and design sprint sessions



Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • BA, BFA, BS required



Required Experience and Skills:

  • Previous UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing enterprise solutions for large companies.
  • Proven well-designed examples of responsive grid-based layouts. Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, CC and the like is a must.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
  • Experience in working within agile
