2026 Future Talent Program - Aircraft Maintenance Technician Intern

Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Our Company Aircraft Technician:

The formal Job descriptions are listed below, we do require an A&P License, we are part 91 operator, each technician signs off on their own work. We perform all helicopter maintenance inhouse with some assistance from contractors for special inspections. We do 95% of maintenance in-house with assistance from the Service Center for special inspections and Customer Bulletins and ASC's that require special tooling. The daily job is launching and recovering aircraft, fueling operations on all aircraft including off-loading and testing fuel deliveries- we own and operate a fuel farm- daily inspections on GSE (tugs) post flight inspections, hourly and calendar inspections, maintenance tracking and compliance with Maint Tracking Systems.

Every shift starts with a Risk Assessment Tool to determine hazards as part of our Safety Management System. You should be able to use Microsoft Office Suite and be familiar with computer operations and various application used on aircraft for loading Databases and Downloading Fault History DB for analysis. We are working to become fully digital for all aircraft maintenance logbooks including flight logs for tracking aircraft times.

We handle passenger transfers from aircraft to aircraft, car to aircraft and baggage loading. We expect the technicians to maintain a professional appearance, we provide uniforms of various ensembles, depending on the season. The technician will not be required to bring tools; we have three Snap-On Level 5 ATC toolboxes for hand tool control.

Our Company Aviation Technician - Entry Level:

This is an entry-level position that assists in maintenance and repair of company-owned aircraft to ensure proper operation, aircraft safety and airworthiness. Performs routine maintenance, such as tire inflation, refueling and maintaining oil levels. Assists in performing FAA required formal inspections. Installs basic components under supervision. May be cross-trained to install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair industry standard equipment such as aircraft communication and navigation systems, radar, autopilots, and other electronic devices. Must possess an airframe and power plant license. May travel.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor of Science degree, in Aviation Maintenance Technology, or other related disciplines.
  • High school diploma or GED with FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required.



Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, or demonstrated progress toward certification
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability and knowledge of aircraft systems

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
