Job Description

  • Primary responsibility 60-80%: Provide HPLC/UPLC troubleshooting support for several instruments, while dedicate the remaining 20-40% to supporting the formulations group.
  • Execute and troubleshoot small molecule analytical methods including UPLC/HPLC
  • Conduct literature research to optimize small molecule formulations.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshoot methods and instrumentation
  • Prepare data for presentations and assist in generating technical reports
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external groups
  • Initiate and perform investigations, as needed
  • Write protocols and technical reports

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Excellent experience operating HPLC/UPLC and analyzing data for analytical methods.
  • Understanding of experimentation and data analysis using Empower software (Version III)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experience
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific findings and recommendations in one-on-one discussions and departmental meetings
  • Excellent technical writing experience such as protocols, reports, and SOPs
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
  • Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Foster City, CA are encouraged to apply.
