Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking to hire a motivated Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of clinical research studies and trials. This role works closely with Clinical Research Coordinators and Senior Clinical Research Coordinators to assist with the day-to-day operational management of study activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines. Responsibilities include supporting study planning and organization, helping maintain protocol compliance, and contributing to adherence with applicable regulatory and institutional requirements in support of high-quality clinical research.

Hourly range: $29.28-$47.10

Required:

  • Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.
  • Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.
  • Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
  • Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Health Care Setting

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
