Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in monitoring, protection, and management of threatened and endangered species and protected species, including species of the Southeastern United States, e.g., nesting sea turtles, shorebirds (including piping plover and red knot), bald eagles, and plants; collection and management of biological data using GIS and GPS to ensure accurate data entry; properly marking habitat by installing paint, posts, and signs; and either possess basic wildland fire certification (Firefighter Type 2, National Wildfire Coordination Group), or be able to attain this certification.
