Biologist II
Responsibilities:
- Perform in vitro primary cellular assays to evaluate target biology using technologies like FACS, MSD, and qPCR.
- Analyse biological samples by flow cytometry, including tissue processing and preparation, staining cells, acquiring data, and analysing results.
- Experience processing human or large animal lab species tissues.
- Generate data in a timely fashion.
- Inventory control of study samples and reagents.
- Effectively and accurately record and report experiment results.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in cellular biology, immunology, or a related discipline with at least 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in performing flow cytometry assays, cell culture, and sterile technique.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization skills desired.
Preferred:
- Experience in handling human or large animal lab species ex vivo samples.
- Experience in flow cytometry panel design.
- Proficiency in data reporting and FlowJo analysis software.
- Experience working in a team environment to achieve goals and timelines.
