Job Description
As a Chemical Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in advancing chemical engineering solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence. You will leverage your expertise to develop and optimize chemical processes that enhance energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance in process-intensive industries.
You will report directly to our 1 and you'll work out of our Tonawanda, NY location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of cutting-edge chemical engineering technologies that support Honeywell's mission to deliver sustainable and efficient process solutions to our customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and optimization of advanced chemical processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, process improvements, and technology integration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and Honeywell's quality requirements.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical engineering within process-intensive or manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in chemical engineering principles and practices, including heat transfer, process design and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software and tools relevant to heat transfer design.
- Experience in product development and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in chemical process operations.

The salary range for this position is ($92,000 - $115,000). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
