Chemist I

Our client, a top personal care manufacturing company is looking for a Chemist!

• Contract Role: 6 - 12 months
• Pay: $22-23/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Formulation work including batching, conducting stability studies, filling and labeling of samples, and submitting requests for micro, safety, evaluation testing, etc.
• Performing quality control measurements and microscopic analysis.
• Keeping detailed lab records and reporting results in a timely manner.
• Following safety guidelines and reviewing SDS, compilation of ingredients for review/reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• B.A or B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant Scientific discipline.
• Cosmetic or pharmaceutical lab experience is preferred.
• Ideal candidate will be quick learner, with validated references.
• Ideal candidate will be quick on their feet with good communication skills.
