Come work for an amazing company that is a long-standing personal care manufacturer. Our client is looking for a Chemist I to join their team!

Schedule:

• 1 st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30a-3p

Type of Job: Temp to hire

Responsibilities:

• Analyze raw material, in-process, and final product samples via HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, TOC, and other methods
• Calibrate & Troubleshoot laboratory instruments/equipment.
• Prepare solutions and perform standardization as needed
• Maintain laboratory documentation
• Follow safety protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FTIR
• Experience with physical testing such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity
• Industry experience preferred - cosmetics, personal care, chemicals, food manufacturing, nutraceutical are all relevant industries
