Clinical Research Associate 1

Job Summary:

The Clinical Research Associate I supports clinical research activities within the Department of Emergency Medicine across multiple clinical locations, including the Adult Emergency Department, Pediatric Emergency Department, Community Campus Emergency Department, and Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center. The position is responsible for identifying and enrolling eligible research participants, coordinating study procedures, collecting and managing research data, maintaining research documentation, and supporting compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. The incumbent collaborates with investigators, clinical staff, research personnel, study participants, and external sponsors as necessary to ensure successful implementation of clinical research studies within diverse clinical environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer skills, excellent written/oral communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with clinical research protocols and/or experience with emergency medicine or emergency medical services. ACRP and/or SOCRA certification a plus.

Work Days:

M-F; Days; on call/evening/weekend may be required depending on research study needs
