Position Summary
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Division of Cardiology. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communication with various stakeholders.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
-Experience in clinical research, including IRB and regulatory processes, preferably within clinical cardiology or cardiovascular research.
-Prior exposure to cardiovascular health, including support of inpatient and/or outpatient cardiovascular clinical trials.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
-Strong organizational skills, including managing electronic and paper files with a high level of attention to detail.
-Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with clinical systems such as Epic (preferred).
