Job Summary:
IMA Clinical Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator with a strong background in managing clinical trials and proficiency in phlebotomy. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in CNS (Central Nervous System) studies, psychiatry, psychology, or social work. This full-time position is based in Chicago, IL, with an annual salary range of $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate clinical trials according to sponsor protocols and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of study protocols and associated procedures.
- Communicate effectively with sponsors, CROs, CRAs, IRBs, laboratories, and clinical personnel.
- Advise Investigators and staff on study protocols and procedures essential for successful study execution.
- Ensure timely documentation and reporting of adverse or serious adverse events in accordance with protocol.
- Uphold ALCOA principles for accurate and timely documentation, including meticulous data entry.
Education and Experience:
- Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or research setting preferred.
- Proficient in conducting and interpreting clinical and diagnostic assessments (vital signs, height, weight, temperature, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead studies, and make informed decisions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a professional demeanor and high motivation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of clinical research and phlebotomy experience.
- Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent studies.
- Experience in CNS research, psychiatry, psychology, or social work is highly desirable.
