Clinical Research Coordinator II

Job Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator will support research activities across two primary areas: the SPARC-XP study (50%) and departmental research operations within the Psychiatry Department (50%).

SPARC-XP Study Responsibilities:
• Recruit, screen, and consent participants
• Coordinate and schedule participant study visits
• Conduct and lead study visits in accordance with protocol
• Collect, manage, and organize study data while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Contribute to manuscript development

Departmental Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Psychiatry
• Attend departmental meetings and document/distribute meeting notes
• Develop and disseminate departmental communications, including newsletters and updates
• Coordinate and support departmental research initiatives and projects

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining compliance with research protocols and institutional guidelines.

Essential Functions
-Assists with determining the suitability of study subjects and acts as a resource for patients and families.

-Has input into recruitment strategies and may contribute to protocol recommendations.

-Administers scores and evaluates study questionnaires.

-Maintains research data, patient files, regulatory binders, and study databases.

-Performs data analysis and QA/QC checks and organizes and interprets data.

-Assists with preparation for annual review and assists PI in completing study reports and presentations.

-May assist with training and orientation of new staff members.

Bachelor's Degree Science required

Related post-bachelor's degree research experience 1-2 years required

- Computer literacy, analytical skills, and ability to resolve technical problems.
- Ability to interpret the acceptability of data results.
- Working knowledge of data management programs.
