Clinical Research Coordinator II/III - Emergency Medicine
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our Emergency Department and Urgent Care research team, supporting both Base and Liberty locations. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about clinical research in fast-paced, high-impact environments, and who are comfortable with variable schedules and specimen processing.
Schedule Requirements
- Variable shifts across Monday-Friday:
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3:30 PM - Midnight
- Sat/Sun shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Must be available for at least two weekend shifts per month
- Shifts are subject to change based on project needs
- CRCs may be called into the trauma bay to enroll EMS providers or patients
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Enrollment & Retention
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies
- Monitor enrollment progress and troubleshoot barriers
- Maintain detailed tracking systems for participant engagement
- Report recruitment metrics to investigators and leadership
Data Management
- Oversee data entry, validation, and quality control
- Create case report forms and data dictionaries
- Support data analysis and reporting
- Maintain master databases and ensure timely data submission
Study Conduct & Clinical Research Practice
- Lead and support complex, multi-center clinical trials
- Collaborate with investigators and research teams to ensure study progress
- Train and mentor new CRCs; provide oversight and guidance
- Collect and process specimens (stool, urine, blood, saliva, etc.)
- Coordinate with other divisions for proper specimen handling and tracking
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Manage regulatory submissions and documentation
- Lead internal audits and monitor visits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and systems
Qualifications
CRC II
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field
CRC III
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of directly related experience,
or Master's degree in a related field
