Position Highlights

The CRC III Lead will perform lead duties, guiding a team of clinical research coordinators. This position will be responsible for managing clinical trial projects and ensuring enrollment numbers are achieved, and compliance is maintained. This person will assist with the day-to-day activities of individual clinical trials and will ensure compliance at all levels.

Duties & Responsibilities

Study coordination and day-to-day oversight:

  • Identify and monitor barriers to enrollment and retentionand develop solutions to enroll.
  • Ensure local strategies are successful through regularassessment and evaluation.
  • Daily oversight of study coordination.
  • Regularly meet with PIs to discuss enrollment and provideand receive updates on study status.
  • Ensure staff adhere to study guidelines.


Teamwork:

  • Communicate with assigned teams regularly via huddles ormeetings in order to share updates, process changes, etc.
  • Ensure staffing is appropriate to meet business needs,review and coordinate sick & vacation requests.
  • Planand lead the work of multiple staff to ensure clinical trials are conductedappropriately and within the guidelines.
  • Providetraining and mentoring of lower-level staff to ensure compliance andachievement of enrollment goals.
  • Communicate regularly with management to share updates, solveproblems, make decisions, etc.


New Study oversight:

  • Participatein the design and implementation of new clinical trials.
  • AssistInvestigators with study startup activities.
  • Assistregulatory team to create and complete regulatory documentation.
  • Assistto train and ready team for study startup.
  • Implementstudy activities.


Operational Oversight & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by ensuring all members of the assignedteam have completed required training and are aware of operational andprotocol changes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve PI goals forparticipant engagement, enrollment and retention.
  • Ensure study teams are documenting all visits accordingly inportals such as OnCore, Box, RedCap, etc.
  • Ensurestaff follow standards of ALCOA and GCP.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to maneuver multiple tasks at once.
  • Knowledge of Cerner, OnCore, RedCap.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
