Clinical Research Nurse (Oncology)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Overview
Join one of the nation's leading academic medical centers as a Clinical Research Nurse! In this role, you'll support groundbreaking oncology research while focusing on patient care. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, you'll ensure the integrity and quality of clinical trials, from recruitment through completion, in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, federal regulations, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants; ensure compliance with study protocols.
- Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
- Conduct study-related procedures per protocol (lab draws, specimen collection, medication handling, etc.).
- Maintain accurate, timely study records and regulatory documentation (IRB submissions, adverse event reports).
- Serve as a liaison between investigators, sponsors, participants, and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve issues to ensure participant safety and data accuracy.
- Participate in site visits, audits, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate participants and staff on study procedures and informed consent.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN license (State of TN or compact state)
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of oncology experience (hospital, clinic, or research setting)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
- Prior clinical research nursing experience (oncology focus ideal)
- Working knowledge of FDA, OHRP, GCP/ICH, and HIPAA regulations
