Clinical Research Nurse
Essential Functions
Coordinates activities for research study protocols and prepares protocol budgets and internal review board submissions. Reviews studies and patient results with physician, oversees patient recruitment and site visits, and advises patients regarding study activity. Oversees collection and processing of lab results and ensures compliance with protocol and regulatory standards. Performs general laboratory duties and guides staff.
Physical Effort
An RN license is required to coordinate complex CAR-T in coordination with Hillman collaborators.
• Provide day-to-day support to treatment centers, including verifying patient information, managing orders, and resolving issues in manufacturing or logistics
• Act as a liaison to collaborate with apheresis teams, pharmacists, treating physicians, and nurses to coordinate cell collection, processing, and transportation
• Route and resolve complex cases to the appropriate internal physicians including serious adverse events.
• Ensure all protocol and regulatory standard adherence including Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) submissions
• Oversees patient recruitment. Prepares for site visits and communicates regularly with study monitors.
• Oversees and reviews collection and processing of lab results.
