What will you be doing?

• Build and lead a global data platform management team responsible for both on-premise and cloud data platforms including Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle and many others
• Make key strategical decisions on how to grow and maintain IQVIAs data platforms
• Implement and oversee ITIL best practice adoption
• Drive the way we organize and optimize service operations through continuous improvement
• Plan and control data platform budgets and vendor contracts
• Create team strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Help your team to learn and grow adapting to changing needs
• Hire, manage, motivate, and mentor so your team is successful
• Co-create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation where everyone feels they belong

What is required to get the job done?

• 5+ years of line management experience in data management
• 10+ years experience in operations and service management roles
• Proven experience of implementing ITIL best practices on global scale
• Very strong people leadership skills
• Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive changes to successful end
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate most complex problems to different stakeholders
• Positive can-do attitude
• Being a great team player

How to stand out from the crowd?

• Previous experience with healthcare sector
• Knowledge of data platform management at global scale
• Experience working in a multinational, global organization
• Knowledge of scaling agile organizations
• Change management experience
