Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Engineer

Responsibilities

We are hiring an electromagnetic environmental effects engineer. This is a hybrid position located at Ft. Meade, MD.

What you will do:

  • Will be engaged in the standardization updates of military standards, handbooks, instructions, and directives
  • Manage updates to the same list of standards and military handbooks
  • Will review DoD acquisition documentation to ensure E3 and spectrum supportability are addressed correctly and according to joint service regulations



Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education: 12 years with BS/BA, or 10 years with MS/MA
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 10 years of experience with electromagnetic environmental engineering



Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification desired: iNARTE-certified EMC Engineer

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
