Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Epidemiologist to join our public health or healthcare research team. The Epidemiologist will study disease patterns, investigate outbreaks, analyze health-related data, and develop evidence-based strategies to prevent and control diseases. This role requires expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health surveillance, research methodologies, and healthcare analytics.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with healthcare providers, government agencies, hospitals, research institutions, or pharmaceutical organizations to improve population health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct epidemiological studies.
• Monitor infectious and chronic disease trends.
• Investigate disease outbreaks and public health emergencies.
• Analyze healthcare and population health data.
• Develop surveillance systems for disease monitoring.
• Interpret statistical findings and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, laboratories, hospitals, and public health agencies.
• Evaluate healthcare interventions and prevention programs.
• Support vaccine effectiveness and safety studies.
• Present research findings to stakeholders and leadership.
• Publish scientific papers and research articles.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and research ethics.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and outbreak response.
• Maintain accurate documentation and study records.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPH/MS) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field.
• PhD in Epidemiology is preferred for research-focused roles.
• 2-7+ years of experience in epidemiology, healthcare analytics, or public health research.
• Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, or research institutions.
