Exercise Physiologist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our team in a full-time position serving both Sauk Centre and Long Prairie. In this role, you will play an essential role in supporting patients through cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will prepare and supervise patients participating in cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs, including collecting detailed histories of symptoms and previous cardiac or pulmonary conditions. You will also design and implement individualized exercise plans tailored to each patient's abilities and clinical needs.
- Schedule
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday | Various hours between 6:45 am - 4:00 pm
- Work 3 days per week at the Sauk Centre Hospital & 2 days per week at the Long Prairie Hospital
- Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $27.25 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $27.25 - $40.88 per hour

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required, Master's Degree preferred
- If Bachelor's Degree, 2 years experience in Cardiac Rehab required or internship at the CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center or outpatient cardiac rehab program of similar size
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Strong working knowledge of ECG interpretation, anatomy, physiology and pathology of heart disease
- Skill in monitoring blood pressure, heart rate, and in the operation of spirometry for the Pulmonary Rehab
