Job Description:
- Primary Location: Sports Medicine and Rehab 8000 Red Bug Lake Road Oviedo, FL 32765
- Will Travel to: Sports Medicine and Rehab 711 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701
- Schedule: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at Oviedo, Wednesday and Fri Altamonte
- Monitors patients' response to therapy and revises plans accordingly.
- Maintains patient/client safety by explaining and demonstrating correct exercise technique and equipment use, closely supervising all activities and discontinuing patient's exercise if the condition warrants
- Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients using test data, patient status, and current medication regimen. Provides exercise information for patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and education classes.
- Ensures department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
- Coordinates exercise program including referral proceedings, scheduling, program planning, and exercise supervision to achieve the goals of the department. Engages in ongoing professional development and promotes a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
• in Exercise Science or related field
Work Experience:
• 1+ experience with the application of exercise concepts/techniques/methods in a biological or medical setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$20.97 - $38.99
