Full-Time

The Exercise Physiologist-Cardiac Rehabilitation (EP) assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides care within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning. The EP participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The EP is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

• • Type of degree: Master of Science in Exercise Science or equivalent
  • Area of study or major: Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current CPR and ACLS certification required at time of hire.

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience

Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience.

Other experience requirements: Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation
