Exercise Physiologist - FT - Days

Job Summary:
Serves as an exercise physiologist for the Rehab and Wellness Department which includes cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, weight management, wellness programs and other populations as assigned.

Education:
Required:
BS degree in exercise or related field

Preferred:
Masters degree

Experience:
Required:

Preferred:
Clinical experience with cardiac or pulmonary rehab patients
One year exercise training experience

Department Position Summary:
Duties include developing exercise prescriptions and designing appropriate programs for the population served in the rehab and wellness department. Must be able to demonstrate skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, diagnosis, and status of the patients.
Must be able to evaluate patient's response to exercise and respond accordingly. Must have excellent communication skills to work with the population served.
