Other conditions: Inquiring candidates must be enrolled as a student at the University of Hawaii Manoa campus. An interest in learning about medical research, including clinical trials, is preferred.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the Clinical Trials Regulatory team with everyday duties and responsibilities.
- Updating and maintaining paperwork pertaining to Regulatory information.
- Assist with processing National Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Network (NCTN), Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT) and industry sponsored trials.
- Attend Regulatory and Clinical Trials trainings and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A classified University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing). Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
- Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule of 20 hours/week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience and working knowledge in medical terminology.
