  • Provide technical safety guidance and advise on Industrial Hygiene regulations to support a compliant workplace.
  • Develop and manage company's Industrial Hygiene standards and technical guidelines to ensure compliance and reduction in workplace Industrial Hygiene risks.
  • Lead global continuous improvement initiatives to improve global Industrial Hygiene programs.
  • Building Industrial Hygiene capabilities by simplifying existing and creating new systems and tools that enables our customers to adapt Industrial Hygiene requirements into daily operations.
  • Being a change agent to ensure all changes to standards, guidelines, systems and tools achieve the desired outcome.
  • Partner with regional and site EHS personnel to implement effective Industrial Hygiene programs through communication tools, training, and project plans.
  • Evaluate, monitor and communicate the effectiveness of Industrial Hygiene programs and provide solutions to address gaps.
  • Promote industry practices that can improve Industrial Hygiene performance, strengthen compliance and further minimize Industrial Hygiene risks.
  • Provide support and expert advice to divisions and sites to control Industrial Hygiene hazards for manufacturing, research and office personnel.
  • Conduct Industrial Hygiene program reviews at company facilities across the globe.
  • Identify, interpret and perform impact analysis on emerging global industrial hygiene regulations, guidelines and consensus standards
  • Audit Industrial Hygiene records and prepare supporting data for required government, industry and management reports.
  • Evaluate IH trends and communicate IH related incidents across company divisions.



Required Experience and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Master's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Industrial Hygiene or related discipline, or
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Industrial Hygiene or related discipline
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of
    • IH concepts, practices, principles and sampling techniques and instrumentation
    • IH regulatory requirements, industry consensus standards, and recognized best practices
    • Air sampling evaluations, and ability to assess the associated hazards and recommend control measures
  • Expertise in all types of industrial hygiene measuring and sampling instruments, equipment and skilled in their field calibration and use
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders on IH matters
  • Ability to manage complex programs and support multiple activities/projects
  • Experience in successfully implementing EHS / IH programs
  • Radiation Safety Experience
  • Model a strong compliance mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
  • Written and oral communication skills that support presentation of information clearly and concisely for all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience in both strategy development and tactical execution
  • Demonstrated excellence in Project Management.
  • Experience in organizational change management (transformation) and continuous improvement.
  • Highly independent and able to foresee issues and needs of the organization.
  • Business acumen.
  • Capability to make rapid and disciplined decisions and to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Capability to distill large quantities of complex data into simple messages

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is
$126,500.00 - $199,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
