Learning Production Execution & Planning Lead (Remote)

Job Description

The Learning Production Execution and Planning Lead is responsible for the production planning, scheduling, execution, tracking, and monitoring required to ensure Learning Creation delivers on the creation of learning assets across the organization. The Lead ensures the capacity plan is supported by internal or external resources, including the BPO, to ensure optimized workflow in the design, development, testing and release of learning products. They partner with the Global Learning Development Learning Portfolio Office to forecast demand and business priorities, with the Learning Creation Directors and People Leaders to keep up to date on capacity and capability of team members, and with vendor partners to appropriately leverage capabilities. This role establishes and manages the sourcing strategy for Global Learning Development to ensure speed, quality, and cost effectiveness across Learning Creation. They Lead a team of Sr. Specialists responsible for the sourcing of internal and external resources and scheduling of work across the Global Learning Creation team.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Learning Creation demand/capacity planning and project level resourcing across the Learning Creation Organization
  • Partners with GL&D Project Management Office and multiple Learning Creation Leads to clarify overall production needs and ensure schedule for Global Learning Creation teams to support the GL&D portfolio of work
  • Directly manages risks and actions to mitigate product schedule deviations
  • Establishes and monitors project level production metrics, shares insights to inform process improvements
  • Leads Global execution team responsible for the scheduling of work for Learning Creation Global teams and sourcing external talent to support GL&D portfolio of work
  • Accountable for establishing and managing the talent sourcing approach for Learning Creation and execution for internal talent, flex talent and volume content development partners to optimize contracts and manage spend
  • Collaborates with Strategy & Operations to manage, monitor and review Learning Creation vendor's, contractor's, spending and performance
  • Supports the standard Learning Creation onboarding & offboarding for new vendor partners as needed to ensure alignment and compliance with standards and processes.
  • Monitors process, people, and resources to inform improvement; escalates recommended actions as needed

Required Experience:

  • BA/BS in Learning Systems, Data Science, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related fields
  • 10 years (8 with Master's degree) of demonstrated team leadership and program management experience of complex multi-divisional programs
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to align various stakeholders to a common goal
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical/problem solving skills, cross-functional leadership skills, experience managing a team of employees with competing priorities
  • Strong balance between technology, solutions, and business acumen with a deep desire to deliver business value to the organization and an enhanced learner experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously and independently, maintaining attention to detail and adapting to changing environments
  • Ability to leverage innovative digital learning technologies and scalable user interfaces
  • Agility, flexibility, working in a fast-paced iterative environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance-related concepts and application in all job-related functions
  • Process management and/or process improvement experience or certifications



Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Instructional systems or another relevant field
  • Experience in Compliance learning
  • Experience in Learning Design/ Development
  • Strong understanding of change management
  • Project Management certification
  • Agile Scrum certification

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5,2023 our U.S. Hybrid work model will be as follows: 1. Three total days on site per week: Tuesday and Wednesday - plus one additional day of choice based on what works best for organizations and/or teams. 2. Fridays will formally be a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require onsite presence.

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:
$118,640.00 - $186,800.00
