Remote/Commuter Opportunity - Open to candidates within the United States  

 

Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Manager Data Strategy. This individual will have primary responsibility of supporting the Data, User Interface, and AI strategy that is aligned with business goals driven by portfolio strategic priorities. This individual will also be responsible for identifying and leverage opportunities to utilize Data, UI, and AI for innovation and growth across Lundbeck US.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and Support Data, UI, and AI Strategy and activation aligned to the brand and portfolio strategic priorities and seamlessly integrate AI into the overall business strategy.
  • Act as a key liaison between data strategy team, AI team and the business functions to identify and understand the opportunities for elevated data integration and establishing data foundation for the implementation of AI roadmap
  • Data Engineering – Establishing an external and internal data integration framework with appropriate business rules with specific functional and business requirement documents and enable easy data access to cross functional teams · UI Design and Implementation – Efficient and effective back and front end design of web applications
  • AI Model Development & Deployment
  • Train, Validate, and deploy AI models using MLOPS (Machine Learning Operations)
  • Enable scalable AI applications
  • Ensure effective communication of data-related issues, challenges, and initiatives across the organization.
  • Generate Insights for business teams by means of SQL, ML Models
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement and encourage knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited master’s degree in quantitative field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in quantitative focused positions demonstrating continuous career progression in strategy and implementation roles.
  • Proficiency in writing SQLs
  • Knowledgeable in Programming languages like Python
  • Knowledgeable in Web Technologies like ReactJS, Django
  • Knowledge of ML Algorithms, NLP, and Deep Learning
  • Project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to tactical, executable solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster enterprise-wide innovation and transformation through thought leadership, exemplary written and interpersonal communication skill.
  • Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization.
  • Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Strong Preference to be based in Deerfield, IL Office 
  • Experience in the healthcare industry

 

Travel:

  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.
  • If based remotely, additional travel will be required to Deerfield, IL, to meet the needs of the role and the business 

 

The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $140,000 - $165,000 and eligibility for a 15% bonus target based on company and individual performance. Benefits for this position include flexible paid time off (PTO), health benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, and company match 401k.
