Job Title:- Medical Lab Scientist Coord
Location:- Henderson NC
Duration :- Fulltime Permanent
Pay Rate :- $$K-83k Plus benefits plus 10k commitment bonus paid over 2 years. 5k in relocation with receipts

Must-Haves:

One Year of experience as MLT
Associate's degree with medical laboratory technician training or 4 years of Laboratory training
eligible to obtain national certification in the Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) category required

Position Summary:

Coordinates activities of the appropriate laboratory section including responsibility for problem solving, systems control, equipment maintenance, performance of complex procedures, writing and updating procedure manuals, inventory/ordering supplies, and teaching as assigned. Performs routine laboratory analysis as appropriate; performs other related duties as assigned.

Reports to the Director of Laboratory

Minimum Education:

Associate's degree with medical laboratory technician training or 4 years of Laboratory training and experience to be eligible to obtain national certification in the Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) category required Bachelor of Science or MT Degree with medical technology clinical training preferred

Minimum Work Experience:

One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the pertinent section, preferably obtained at Maria Parham Hospital.

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
