Medical Laboratory Scientist I, OMC Core Lab Per Diem

Job Description

• Perform testing in the laboratory and report results according to SOP
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP
• Maintain and manage laboratory inventory
• Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team
• Maintain competencies and continuing education

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution highly preferred
• Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation

Minimum Experience:

• New MLS/CLS graduates welcome

License/Certifications:

• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
