Work Type: Contract (90 Days)
Schedule: 3 Days / Week (12-Hour Shifts)
Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Shift Details
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (as assigned)

The Medical Physicist is responsible for providing expert support in radiation oncology, ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation for diagnosis and treatment. This role involves treatment planning, quality assurance, and collaboration with physicians and oncology teams to deliver optimal patient care.
The physicist plays a critical role in maintaining radiation safety standards, analyzing imaging data, and supporting advanced oncology technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Treatment Planning
• Plan and evaluate radiation treatment procedures
• Analyze imaging and diagnostic data to support clinical decisions
• Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients
Radiation Safety & Quality Assurance
• Ensure safe operation of radiation equipment
• Provide guidance on radiation protection and compliance
• Manage radiotherapy quality assurance programs
Clinical & Technical Support
• Support oncology teams with imaging and treatment technologies
• Develop or evaluate equipment used for diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory standards
Training & Research
• Train healthcare and technical staff on radiation practices
• Participate in research and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support education and knowledge sharing within the team
Must-Have Qualifications
• Certification by ABR (American Board of Radiology)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as Medical Physicist
• Strong experience in radiation oncology and treatment planning
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Experience with oncology systems and imaging
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with EPIC, ARIA RadOnc, SHARE DRIVE CTC-RadOnc
• Experience in hospital-based oncology departments
• Strong analytical and technical expertise
