TSP Talent Solutions in engaged in a direct hire search with a privately-owned biopharmaceutical company that pioneers and delivers life-changing therapies that help people build families and better lives to hire a team of Medical Science Liaisons.
This is a field-based opportunity to play an important role in making available to patients a novel product that has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of cancer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Present healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate, unbiased, balanced and timely answers to unsolicited requests for information about cancer.
- Establish scientific and clinical relationship with KOLs and academic centers to expand research and education opportunities.
- Provide study support from protocol and budget development to submission and completion for Phase IV as well as Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs)
- Provide continuing field scientific support and training for sales and Account Managers
- Document and forward reports of adverse events to appropriate personnel.
- Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in assigned therapeutic area.
- Proactively report competitive activities as well as events that can influence the use of product(s).
- Develop and deliver scientific/educational programs including but not limited to formulary presentations for managed care and related organizations.
The MSL candidate have:
- Doctorate degree (DVM, MD, PhD, or PharmD) in biological sciences.
- Minimum of two (2) years previous MSL experience.
- Experience in Uro-oncology, Urology or Oncology required as a practicing MSL
- Ability to apply technical expertise and solutions to diverse/individualized situations.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Networking skills and the confidence to interact with senior experts on a peer-to-peer level.
- Critical data analysis skills.
- A willingness to keep up to date with scientific literature.
- A high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 60% or more of the time.
